Choose Me

“In the middle of the night, when there's no one else...”

Every night in 1980s Los Angeles, a radio voice named Nancy (Geneviève Bujold) gives advice about love, while Eve (Lesley Ann Warren), who owns the dive bar Eve's, keeps her own private losses behind the bar. Mickey (Keith Carradine), a drifter just out of a psychiatric hospital, wanders into their lives. Alan Rudolph moves among them as the night goes on, and the film says plainly that the people who give out advice about love are as lost as the ones calling in.
