Christiane F.
“The image of a generation.”
Christiane (Natja Brunckhorst) is thirteen in 1970s West Berlin, bored and depressed, and she wants in on the nightlife that David Bowie scores. Uli Edel follows her into a small crew of junkies, and she becomes a heroin addict at fourteen. Her love for Detlev (Thomas Haustein), a male prostitute with a habit of his own, ties her to the crew and to the drug.
