Christmas at the Cupiello House

Luca Cupiello (Eduardo De Filippo) shares his home with his wife Concetta (Nina De Padova), his son Tommasino (Pietro De Vico), and his brother Pasquale (Enzo Petito). Around him the family is coming apart, with Tommasino stealing from his uncle and daughter Ninuccia planning to leave her husband for her lover. De Filippo plays a man who says nothing and builds the Nativity scene, as if a crib on the table could hold the household together.
