Christmas in August

“Is love eternal?”

Jung-won (Han Suk-kyu) is a quiet photographer in his thirties who runs a small portrait studio and knows he is dying. One sweltering summer, Da-rim (Shim Eun-ha), a young traffic cop who comes in to collect her photographs, begins stopping by, and she has no idea what he is carrying. Hur Jin-ho made this his debut, and what hangs over the two of them is how little time Jung-won has left to let her in.
