Erin returns to Aurora, Alaska with her father Doug to sell the family home and finally see the Northern Lights, a lifelong dream. The realtor Lori and local guide Trevor fill their days with Christmas preparations and forest walks beneath the sky, each moment threaded with small kindnesses. By the time the aurora appears, Erin has found a way back to the town and the people she left behind.
