Christy

“What does it take to become a legend?”

In a small town in West Virginia, Christy Martin (Sydney Sweeney) has no plan for her life until she finds out she can hit people and win. Jim V. Martin (Ben Foster) trains her, manages her, and then marries her, and the fights in the ring are only part of what she has to get through. David Michôd stays close on her through the bouts and the house, so the strain on the marriage reads as plainly as the punches.
