“What are you capable of?”

Andrew Detmer (Dane DeHaan) is a Seattle high school senior who gets bullied at school and has little to hold onto at home. After he, his cousin Matt (Alex Russell) and the popular Steve (Michael B. Jordan) find an unknown object, all three come away with telekinetic powers. Josh Trank's debut follows the friends as they test those limits for fun, while Andrew's anger grows alongside his strength and the people around him are left standing in its path.
