Chungking Express

“If my memory of her has an expiration date, let it be 10,000 years...”

Hong Kong in 1994 holds two lovesick policemen, each brooding over a woman who has left him. Cop 223 (Takeshi Kaneshiro) crosses paths with a mysterious drug smuggler (Brigitte Lin Ching-hsia), while Cop 663 (Tony Leung Chiu-wai) is slowly noticed by Faye (Faye Wong), who works the counter at a late-night snack bar. Wong Kar-wai tells the two stories one after the other and shoots the city in a restless, hand-held blur.
