Chunhyang

“Her spirit became inspiration, Her name became legend.”

Chunhyang (Lee Hyo-jeong) is the daughter of a courtesan and an aristocrat, and though her standing is low, she is smart and well educated. At a pagoda she meets Mongryong (Cho Seung-woo), a young man from a well-to-do family bound for the capital to take the civil service exam, and the two fall in love and think about marriage. Im Kwon-taek leaves them together at the pagoda, before the exam, before Byun Hak-do.
