“Terrific as all creation!”
In 1889 the government opens the Oklahoma territory, and Yancey Cravat (Richard Dix) stakes a free plot and moves his family out from Wichita. He turns newspaperman and lawyer in the new boom town of Osage, while Wesley Ruggles follows the settlers as the land fills up. Once the town is built, Yancey starts to feel hemmed in, and Sabra (Irene Dunne) is left to make her own way.
