Cinderella

“Updated version of the classic Rodgers and Hammerstein musical of the classic fairy-tale, with an all-star, multi-racial cast.”

Cinderella (Brandy Norwood) wants out from under her stepmother (Bernadette Peters) and the stepsisters who give her every chore. Her Fairy Godmother (Whitney Houston) hands her one night at the royal ball, where Prince Christopher's parents are hoping he'll choose a bride. Robert Iscove directs the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, and Cinderella steps into that ballroom as someone who has decided she deserves a life of her own.
