Cinderella

“Midnight is just the beginning.”

A young woman in mourning scrubs floors in her stepmother's house, her days erased into service. When the Prince (Richard Madden) holds a ball to find a bride, Cinderella's fairy godmother (Helena Bonham Carter) conjures her a gown and a night away from the cinders. Branagh lights the palace in gold and silver, letting the camera linger on each impossible detail as Cinderella steps into a world made of glass and starlight.
