Cinderella Man

“One man's extraordinary fight to save the family he loved.”

Jim Braddock (Russell Crowe) was a promising heavyweight in the 1920s, but by the Depression his career is over and his hand is broken. He works the docks for scraps and keeps his wife Mae (Renée Zellweger) and their children fed on whatever he can find. Ron Howard shows the family rationing milk and going cold, and Jim is willing to climb back into the ring for them.
