“John Wayne Wild Across the World!”

In 1964 Europe, Matt Masters (John Wayne) is taking his American circus across the Continent on a tour that keeps going wrong. Henry Hathaway fills the ring with acts and animals, and Claudia Cardinale plays Toni Alfredo, the adopted daughter Matt raised, while Rita Hayworth plays Lili, her mother. Matt is caught between the two women, and the film treats family as the one act no one in the troupe gets to rehearse.
