Cisco Pike

(1972)Directed by Bill L. Norton95 min · RCrime, Drama
“CISCO PIKE is a man of the West... West L.A.!”

Officer Leo Holland (Gene Hackman), a corrupt LAPD cop, gives Cisco Pike (Kris Kristofferson), a washed-up musician and former dealer, one weekend to sell 100 kilos of confiscated marijuana. Cisco works his old contacts, from Sue (Karen Black) to Jesse Dupre (Harry Dean Stanton), and every one of them knows he is broke. Bill L. Norton directs it in a loose, grainy style that keeps the film among the clubs and cheap rooms of the Los Angeles music scene.
