“True Blind Love”

A Tramp (Charlie Chaplin) wants only to be of use to the blind flower girl (Virginia Cherrill) he meets on a city street, who takes him for a man of means. His on-and-off friendship with an Eccentric Millionaire (Harry Myers) is how he gets there, one favor at a time. Chaplin made it with a synchronized score and no spoken dialogue, and the whole story rests on what passes between those two.
