City of Ember

“Escape is the only option”

The City of Ember has lived for generations under its own electric lights, a glittering underground town where the generator that powers everything is starting to fail. Lina Mayfleet (Saoirse Ronan) and Doon Harrow (Harry Treadaway) are teenagers who go looking through the city for clues to why it was built. Gil Kenan sets the two of them against the flicker of the great lamps, each dimming pulse a little longer than the last.
