City of Fear

“A million eyes wide and wild with terror!”

A convict breaks out of prison carrying a stolen steel canister he believes is full of heroin, when what's inside is radioactive material that could poison a city. Lieutenant Mark Richards (John Archer) and Chief Jensen (Lyle Talbot) race to find Vince Ryker (Vince Edwards) before the contents do their damage. Irving Lerner shoots the chase on the real streets of Los Angeles, and the camera stays on a man who has no idea what he's carrying.
