Do-chul (Jung Woo-sung) is a boxer who has never won a fight, and he needs money badly enough to take work wherever it turns up. That brings him to Hong-ki (Lee Jung-jae), a small-time crook who sees the world in nearly the opposite way. Kim Sung-soo follows the pair through Korea in 1999, the two of them in their mid-twenties, still going around together, still short of cash.
