City of Women

A woman in a train compartment catches Snàporaz's eye, then slips off into a forest, and he goes after her. Marcello Mastroianni plays him, a man who ends up in a hotel full of women at a feminist conference, where nobody wants him there. Fellini turns the hotel into a place where women hold all the power, and Snàporaz has to answer for how he has treated his wife, Elena (Anna Prucnal).
