“Two is better than one”

Nobody can say why two high school misfits, Bernard Flannigan (Skyler Gisondo) and Veronica Krauss (Olivia Holt), have decided the local school board is theirs to take over. Eric Stoltz sends them into the world of politics with their families coaching from the side, among them Barbara (Kathleen Chalfant), an editor in chief. Underneath the campaigning, the film is about two kids who figure out love by running a campaign together.
