Clay Pigeons

“Lester Long never forgets a friend.”

Clay Bidwell (Joaquin Phoenix) just wants his small Montana town to leave him alone after his friend Earl's death, which Clay's affair with Earl's wife helped cause. Then Lester Long (Vince Vaughn), a friendly drifter who wants to go fishing, starts turning up everywhere. David Dobkin sets the film in the dust and quiet of ordinary roads, and the bodies begin to point at Clay, with Agent Dale Shelby (Janeane Garofalo) now looking his way.
