“Solving a crime can be dirty work”

A house in a wealthy suburb has been scrubbed clean of a shooting, and nobody can say who ordered it done or why. Tom Cutler (Samuel L. Jackson), a former cop who now cleans up death scenes, did the scrubbing himself, and Renny Harlin follows him as the job starts to look like a mistake. Cutler is a single father raising his daughter Rose (Keke Palmer), and he keeps working the case alone.
