Cléo from 5 to 7

“The whole world... has made an appointment with...”

At five o'clock on June 21, Florence "Cléo" Victoire (Corinne Marchand), a young singer, leaves a fortune teller's table and starts walking through Paris. At half past six she is due to hear the results of a biopsy, and she fills the time with cafés, a hat shop, a rehearsal with her pianist Bob (Michel Legrand), and a taxi ride. Agnès Varda follows her in real time, in chapters marked off by the hour and the minute.
