Andrew Bennett (Stephen Merchant) has one job this Christmas, which is to get his daughter a Sparklehoof the Unicorn Princess, and every shop has sold out. The only one left is 300 miles away in Carlisle, and the only person who can drive him there is Dev D'Cruz (Asim Chaudhry), the neighbour he has spent years avoiding. Ben Palmer keeps the two of them shut in the car together, bickering along the road north.
