Close Encounters of the Third Kind

“We are not alone.”

Roy Neary (Richard Dreyfuss), a power-company lineman, witnesses a UFO in the night sky, and the sighting rewires him completely. He becomes obsessed with understanding what he saw, sculpting it from shaving cream and dirt while his family fractures around him. Spielberg pulls Roy toward an encounter that will cost him everything he has built on earth.
