Close Enemies

Driss (Reda Kateb) and Manuel (Matthias Schoenaerts) grew up on the same council estate, where loyalty to your patch counts for more than loyalty to any country. Driss left it behind and now captains a narcotics squad, while Manuel stayed and built his life on those same streets. David Oelhoffen puts the two friends on opposite sides of the line, each owing the other a price for the choice he made.
