“A new kind of household.”

Tomo (Rinka Kakihara) is eleven when her mother, who has raised her alone, runs off and leaves her behind. She goes to stay with her uncle Makio (Kenta Kiritani), who lives with his girlfriend Rinko (Toma Ikuta), a transgender woman. Naoko Ogigami keeps the focus on the small, daily work of making a home, and Tomo watches Rinko at the stove, deciding whether this household is hers.
