Closer
“If you believe in love at first sight, you never stop looking.”
Dan (Jude Law) wants more than the life he has, and he finds it in Anna (Julia Roberts), a photographer who is already with Larry (Clive Owen). Mike Nichols adapts Patrick Marber's play, with Alice (Natalie Portman) as the fourth person drawn in. Each of the four has a relationship to lose, and every honest word spoken puts it closer to the table.
