Cloudburst

Stella (Olympia Dukakis) is a foul-mouthed old woman who has shared a life with Dot (Brenda Fricker), who is blind, for thirty-one years. When Dot's granddaughter puts her into a nursing home, Stella breaks her out and drives for Canada, where the two can finally marry. Thom Fitzgerald sends them north with a young hitchhiker named Prentice (Ryan Doucette) in the back seat.
