Clouds of May

In a small Turkish town in 1999, Muzaffer (Muzaffer Özdemir) comes home to visit his parents and starts planning a film. He casts it from the people around him, among them Emin (Mehmet Emin Ceylan) and Fatma (Fatma Ceylan), all of them busy with their own problems and hopes. Nuri Bilge Ceylan films his own family and neighbors in long, unhurried scenes that let ordinary days run at their own speed.
