Clouds of Sils Maria

Maria Enders (Juliette Binoche) became famous twenty years ago in a play about a young woman who undoes an older one. Now she is asked to return to it in the older woman's part, and she retreats to Sils Maria, Switzerland, to rehearse with her assistant Valentine (Kristen Stewart). Olivier Assayas filmed there from August to October 2013, and the two women run lines against the high mountain landscape of the Alps.
