“Something big was leftover.”

Flint Lockwood (Bill Hader) is an inventor who has never quite gotten his machines to do what he meant them to. After his food storm wrecks the town, he leaves for Live Corp, run by his idol Chester V (Will Forte), where the best inventors in the world work. Cody Cameron and Kris Pearn send Flint back to the island when he learns his machine still runs and is turning out living pickles and tacodiles, and Sam Sparks (Anna Faris) is the friend at his side.
