“It's not just a game anymore.”

Six strangers arrive at a secluded mansion in 1954 for a dinner party, and before the night is out their host, Mr. Boddy, is dead. Every guest, among them Mrs. Peacock (Eileen Brennan) and Professor Plum (Christopher Lloyd), was being blackmailed by him, so the butler Wadsworth (Tim Curry) sets about finding the killer in the house. Jonathan Lynn keeps the whole thing moving at a run, from room to room through the night.
