Cobb
“Everyone hated this baseball legend. And he loved it.”
Ty Cobb (Tommy Lee Jones) is the most feared and disliked man in baseball, and near the end of his life he wants the record corrected. He hires the sportswriter Al Stump (Robert Wuhl) to ghostwrite an authorized autobiography about "the greatest ball-player ever," in Cobb's words. Ron Shelton puts the two men in close quarters, where Stump has to decide how much of what the old man tells him he believes.
