“Outside is dangerous. Inside is deadly.”

David Petersen (Allen Leech) stops at a diner in the Colorado Rockies and intervenes when a waitress's ex-husband turns violent. Back on the road alone, he loses control in a blizzard and crashes deep into a ravine, trapping him in his car. A beast prowls the snow outside, and Drouin shoots the ravine in cold gray light as the storm closes in.
