Coldblooded

Cosmo Reif (Jason Priestley) keeps books for the mob from a basement room in a retirement home, a flat-voiced young man who has never fired a gun. When he is promoted to hitman, the veteran Steve (Peter Riegert) takes him on and teaches the trade, and Cosmo meets Jasmine (Kimberly Williams-Paisley), a yoga teacher. Wallace Wolodarsky plays the whole thing deadpan, and Cosmo sits in his basement room, the retirement home above him, thinking about how to get out.
