Colour Me Kubrick

“A True...ish Story”

In 1990s London, Alan Conway (John Malkovich) introduces himself to strangers as Stanley Kubrick, though he looks nothing like the director and knows little about his films. Brian W. Cook, who worked as an assistant director for Kubrick himself, follows him as he collects money, drinks and favours for the promise of a job on the next picture. Conway keeps reinventing himself as the great man, and the people he fools keep their doors open.
