A gang from his college beats up Jayakrishna (Suhas), a dark-skinned student in 1990s Machilipatnam who has loved Deepu (Chandini Chowdary) from a distance and told no one. The attack is what brings her close, and the friendship that follows turns into love, which her brother Rama Raju does not accept. Sandeep Raj, making his first feature, tells it as the story of a below-average guy, and keeps the camera on Jayakrishna's face.
