Columbus

Jin (John Cho) gets the call in the middle of his father's speaking tour: the architecture scholar has collapsed, and Jin is stuck in Columbus, Indiana, a small Midwestern city full of modernist buildings. Kogonada follows him as he meets Casey (Haley Lu Richardson), a young architecture enthusiast who works at the local library and walks him through the town. Jin waits by a hospital bed in a place he never planned to stay, and Casey has never gone anywhere else.
