Come True

Sarah (Julia Sarah Stone) is an 18-year-old runaway who sleeps wherever she can, and her dreams keep drawing her back to the same dark place. She signs up for a university sleep study, where Jeremy (Landon Liboiron) and Dr. Meyer (Christopher Heatherington) monitor her at night. Anthony Scott Burns builds the film from slow, dreamlike imagery and a synth-heavy score, so the waking scenes feel as unsteady as the sleeping ones.
