“The true story of one man's terrifying journey into the unknown.”

In the mountains of upstate New York, around 1985, the novelist Whitley Strieber (Christopher Walken) heads to his family's cabin for a quiet weekend and comes back changed. Philippe Mora follows him as the nights go bad, with Strieber unable to say what happened to him in those woods. His wife Anne (Lindsay Crouse) and their young son watch the man they know turn strange and frightened, and she has to decide how far to trust him.
