Computer Chess

“An artificially intelligent comedy”

Bishton (Patrick Riester) has spent a year teaching his program to play chess, and he wants it to beat every rival at the American Computer Chess Convention for the $7,500 grand prize. Andrew Bujalski shoots the weekend in grainy video, with programmers and their machines packed into one hotel. Papageorge (Myles Paige) and the other rivals trade tips and suspicions all weekend, friends and competitors in the same room.
