Confession of Murder

“He'll kill to be famous.”

The murders ended fifteen years ago, and the statute of limitations ran out with no one caught. Then Lee Doo-suk (Park Si-hoo) publishes a book detailing every killing and walks out in public as the man who did them. Detective Choi Hyung-goo (Jung Jae-young), the cop who failed to catch him, is assigned to protect him from the victims' families, and a masked man calling himself "J" (Jung Hae-kyun) soon claims the crimes were his.
