Confessions

“Her pupils murdered her daughter. She will have her revenge.”

On the last day of term, Yuko Moriguchi (Takako Matsu) stands before her middle school class and tells them how her four-year-old daughter died. She says the girl's death was no accident, and that she knows which of her students are responsible. Tetsuya Nakashima builds the film from the voices of teacher, students and parents, showing how far a child's cruelty can reach once an adult stops looking away.
