Rebecca Bloomwood (Isla Fisher) is a financial journalist in New York who spends money she doesn't have, filling her apartment with designer clothes and shoes she's never worn. When her credit card debt threatens to catch up with her, she lands a column opposite Luke Brandon (Hugh Dancy), the man tasked with getting her finances in order.
