Congo

“Where you are the endangered species.”

A team of eight heads into the unexplored Congo to find a missing expedition and the ruins of an ancient civilization where diamonds might be buried. Dr. Karen Ross (Laura Linney) leads the push, with primatologist Dr. Peter Elliot (Dylan Walsh) and Captain Monroe Kelly (Ernie Hudson) alongside her, and Frank Marshall keeps them moving. Peter brings Amy, the mountain gorilla he raised, and what passes between the two is the warmest thing in the jungle.
