Conquest 1453

“The fall of an empire will be the rise of another.”

The old sultan Murat II is dead, and his son Mehmed II (Devrim Evin) takes the Ottoman throne while rivals press him from inside the court and from beyond it. Faruk Aksoy follows the young ruler toward the one goal he has set himself, the walls of Constantinople, with the soldier Ulubatlı Hasan (İbrahim Çelikkol) in the ranks. At its center is a young man who believes a city can be taken only if someone is willing to stake everything on it.
