Conquest of the Planet of the Apes

A chimpanzee walks out of almost twenty years in hiding, and no one in the city yet knows who he is. Caesar (Roddy McDowall) finds a world where apes carry, serve and take orders, with Breck (Don Murray) and Kolp (Severn Darden) overseeing the human side of that arrangement. J. Lee Thompson keeps the pace hard and the mood tight, putting the camera close on the faces of the captive.
