Cookie

“She's a chip off the old block.”

Dino Capisco (Peter Falk) walks out of prison after thirteen years with two things on his list: old scores to settle and a daughter he barely knows. Cookie (Emily Lloyd), the child he fathered outside his marriage, is not shy about letting him know it. Susan Seidelman sets a mob comedy inside a family argument, and what holds the film together is how badly a father and daughter want to be claimed by each other.
